Helena Township is one of eleven townships in Scott County. The population is approximately 1,800. Helena Township in Scott County was settled and named by the same parties who went on to settle Helena, Montana. Our township is mostly rural and about two-thirds of the township has a New Prague address, with one-third a Jordan address. There are also two school districts and fire districts aligned with the school districts.

People here know each other. That's probably one of the reasons for our low crime rate and strong community bond.

Helena has two great school districts. Both New Prague and Jordan high schools have a 94% graduation rate.
