Attendance at the Scott County Planning Advisory Commission Meeting
Monday February 9, 2026 | 6:30 PM
Present: Chair Wermerskirchen, Supervisors Nytes and Croatt
Helena Township’s item was second on the agenda.
Planner Nathan Hall explained the plans and reasons for the rezoning and administrative subdivision.
One audience member, John Rosemeier, Mary Miller’s son-in-law, was present only to understand what Meyer’s plans were as the Miller property abuts the Meyer land to the west. Rosemeier was not opposed to the rezoning and subdivision.
With no further comments, the hearing was closed. On a motion by Robbins/Huber the commission approved rezoning of 42.8 acres from A-1 to A-3 unanimously.
The Administrative Subdivision will be considered on consent agenda later.
