We're Here To Let You Know...At the Dec 4th Scott County Board meeting, the Commissioners unanimously proclaimed the day (December 4, 2025) “DeAnn Croatt Day” in Scott County. In adopting the resolution, Commissioner Barb Weckman Brekke articulated the litany of DeAnn’s various responsibilities, achievements, and service to the Scott County community, from her tenure as Helena Township Clerk (and later Supervisor) to her leadership in the Scott County Community Development Agency, eventually serving as chair. “I feel like we should be holding a parade,” Commissioner Weckman Brekke said.
In 2024, DeAnn was awarded the Conrad Rettmer Commissioner Award by the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials -- a well-deserved and highly sought-after honor. DeAnn’s dedication has made a profound impact on Scott County, and the Board was pleased to bestow upon her this richly earned recognition (although the ever-modest DeAnn noted, “I didn’t need a day!”). Congratulations DeAnn, and well done!
