Sheriff Luke Hennen has announced the opening of the 2025 Law Enforcement Scholarship Program. Each year, the Minnesota Sheriffs’ Association (MSA) Board of Directors sets aside funding to support students pursuing careers in criminal justice. For 2025, up to 18 scholarships of $2,000 each, will be awarded thanks to contributions from sheriffs across Minnesota’s 87 counties.
The Scott County Sheriff’s Office, together with the MSA, emphasizes the importance of pre-service education for those preparing to enter the law enforcement profession. These scholarships are intended to help cover educational costs for qualified students who may need financial support.
“I encourage law enforcement students from Scott County to apply for this scholarship and take advantage of the opportunity to support their education,” said Sheriff Luke Hennen.
